Organisers of Cape Town’s Flagship Travel Show Launch Virtual Masterclass Series

Reed Exhibitions, organiser of Africa Travel Week, has launched a virtual meetings and masterclass series in the run-up to the live event in Cape Town next year.
Scheduled to take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in April 2021, Africa Travel Week comprises of World Travel Market (WTM) Africa, International Luxury Travel Market Africa (ILTMA), EQUAL Africa, ibtm Africa, Travel Forward, and a series of B2B trade shows.
Keeping the travel industry in the know
The aim of the virtual masterclasses, explains Reed Exhibitions’ Megan Oberholzer, is to keep the travel industry engaged and connected in the build-up to the event in Cape Town next year.
“At the heart of our efforts to reimagine the live shows lies a common goal of #makingtravelhappenagain,” says Oberholzer. “We’ve moved away from panels and PowerPoints. Instead, we’re tapping into our solid network of industry experts and experienced travellers who can share their insider tips and help businesses strike the right balance between implementing necessary safety measures and delivering authentic experiences.”
The result is an online platform: Africa Travel Week Connect, Reed Exhibitions’ online travel knowledge and information centre.
