With a pretty unique setting, it’s possible in a single day to taste award-winning wine at a local vineyard, surf at a blue flag beach, spend some time with some penguins at our very own Boulders Beach and end your day on top of Table Mountain for a sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.

Arriving in Cape Town

Whether arriving by sea or via Africa’s best-rated airport six years in a row, everyone is catered for in our city. Make sure to check our guidelines for visitors and travel-wise safety tips. Being the oldest colonial city in South Africa, you can expect some of the most interesting culturally diverse museums and art projects on the continent, boasting the first contemporary art museum in Africa – The Zeitz MOCAA. Art plays a massive role in the fabric of what makes Cape Town the city it is today. Street art tours are available too, and this is always a great way to see the heartbeat of any city.
