UCT Accolade Confirms Cape Town is a Great Place to Study

Alderman James Vos, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Opportunities and Asset Management, has congratulated the University of Cape Town for being ranked the top tertiary institution in Africa and 155th out of the 200 best universities globally, according to the World University Rankings.
Cape Town offers a sophisticated, diverse and dynamic economy.
“This accolade goes to show that we have so much to offer no matter what you are looking for,” said Alderman Vos.
“Our access to sound infrastructure, good governance, as well as a skilled workforce, along with UCT and the numerous other internationally recognised universities and colleges, makes Cape Town the world-class destination it is.”
